THE 1120 RANDOM ACCESS SAMPLER

The carousel tray lets the probe reach programmed sample positions without advancing through every cup in sequence. Its compact footprint suits instruments and fluidic processing systems where access and integration matter.

INSIDE THE SAMPLER
Sample access and wash control in one compact unit.
Software can direct the probe to a chosen position on the carousel, making it practical to revisit a calibration standard, spike or QC sample during a tray sequence. Stepper motors control the probe’s vertical movement, arc and tray rotation.
The wash bath uses separate pumps for wash in and wash out. An optional sampling pump handles aspiration. Internal drives and tubing management keep the fluidics within the instrument’s footprint.

The original data sheet describes standard open-tube trays, septum-sealed vial trays, OEM versions and end-user systems. Radius Labs can discuss the configuration that fits your method.
120-position tray
The standard 1120 tray holds 120 disposable 5 mL sample tubes. The probe can go directly to a programmed position rather than advancing sequentially.
172-position option
The 1172 configuration described in the sheet uses 172 2 mL septum-seal vials and a high-torque vertical probe drive for septum access.
OEM and end-user
Discuss customized trays, private labeling, custom chassis color, a software driver, and an optional pull-out shelf for modules above the sampler.
Software driver: The data sheet describes settings for sample cup and wash-bath depths, aspiration timing, wash fluid movement, and interfacing tests.
